This place is easy to miss if you're driving by on Carson Street. It's in a building next door to Subway and a couple doors down from where a Payless Shoe Source just closed. There is an adjacent Walmart store which always seems to be busy.
The day I stopped in here, I noticed the restaurant was small and with simple decor. There were a few others ahead of me waiting for their orders. I ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl for $7.25. The person who took my order gave me the option of including a side of edamame and ginger, which I declined; I just wanted the bed of rice with the chicken on top.
I waited less than 5 minutes when I was alerted my order was ready. The guy who took my order directed me to a side station near the ordering counter that held utensils and bottles of more teriyaki sauce, if desired. I filled a small cup with more teriyaki sauce before I left.
Once I got home and ate my chicken bowl, I was impressed with the flavor and freshness. The teriyaki sauce is thick and on the sweet side, which I like. I ate the whole thing and it was very filling.
I won't mind coming back here next time I'm craving a good teriyaki chicken bowl. -

Mmmm mmm! Located in a mini shopping strip infringed of Walmart. It's located in between subway and a Mexican restaurant. Always busy, always quick, and I have zero complaints. My bowl out the door was $9 and some change.
Fresh flavors + Full stomach + great customer service = Ill Be back Again in my Terminator voice! -

You can expect to get great tasting food and speedy service. Don't come here expecting high end cuisine, it's neighbor to subway for crying out loud... You are here for delicious and affordable food. Love all their teriyaki chicken/beef/salmon! All delicious. I've gone several times and each time has been fairly consistent, never dry.
The sushi... well this can be improved but I have a theory that the way it is served is to help with expediting service. All the sushi rice has been served cold which tells me they have bowls/plated already prepared and refrigerated and possible customized to order. I asked for a washington roll with shrimp tempura inside, they couldn't accommodate and if my theory is correct that's probably why. Rolls are huge, not bite size so you'll get more bang for your buck! Poke bowl same issue with the sushi rice being cold, but otherwise all the fish taste great and fresh not fishy. -

Fuji Grill in Lakewood has similar food quality to your average Fuji Grill. This location is a bit outdated, the tables are scraped up, and when I ate here the first time it had some sticky tables, but I can understand because of the lunch rush.
My favorite bowl is the baked scallop bowl. The food portion size is pretty decent for what you pay. They have numerous protein options from fish, chicken, steak, and beef bowls. The rice is done well and not overcooked. They have teriyaki sauce you can have on the side (self-serve). The seating availability is also pretty good.
The service here is subpar I would say, but wouldn't say it's bad. From previous Fuji Grill experience I would say they can do a bit better interacting with customers, but that's just me being needy haha.
Overall, decent food for decent price. Has numerous protein options, decent parking area, and good table availability, but definitely needs an update. -

Yup, fast food Japanese, no frills, the 2 gentleman there do their jobs, take orders and cook,,, no real extra service.. so this means go pick up your own order at the front desk.
Foods decent, I got a super bowl, chicken and teriyaki beef,,, which seemed to be their best seller because every single person after me ordered the same thing. Then I also got a rainbow roll... All food is good and fresh.
